These are a collection of tracks that have no real relation to each other or anything else. I made
them half for practice, and half for fun. I think some of them are pretty good. Cognitohazard is
probably my favorite, even though it gets kind of wild.
Cognitohazard
As I made this one I envisioned a mad scientist taking a potion that makes them super strong but
also drives them insane with power.
I like this one a lot. The robot voice sounds melancholy in a way I really enjoy.
Sibilantis
This one is an experiment I did to try and make a whole soundscape in the MASSIVE X synth. I don't
think it sounds good, but it does sound pretty interesting. Like a massive evil robot breathing in
and out while hunting you down.
Solid Mercury
I wrote a (very) short story before composing this one in order to try and compose a "suite" to go
along with it. A team of explorers lands on a frozen ice planet; they go deep into a cave to look
for artifacts; a monster wakes up and chases them out of the cave; they barely make it out to their
ship and fly away, looking back at the planet from space. I think I did a pretty good job, though it
sounds a bit reptitive in places, and never quite hits the level of tension I'd like.
Helium
This is the only song I ended up making for an album I was planning called "Travelers." It was going
to be very abstract, chill-ish music themed to different chemical elements. I like how this song
turned out, but I probably won't revisit that idea, it's a little too abstract.
